End Of The Line

While in my last year of study I created this collection of work. A multi-media exhibition that featured the piece of wood I used to create the work. My favorite part of the collection was the animals in the paper I made (on the windows). During the day you could clearly see the animals but as the sun went down, or it was a cloudy day, they started disappearing.

All of the materials used in the collection are all reused or made, the fabric you can see are created using sheets from second hand stores, the paper is cut offs from previous projects or paper I made myself.

This exhibition really made me rethink what we define as “fine art”, is it the materials we use? or is the idea enough?
